One Sunday Gary decided that he wanted to make a homemade pie. I helped him peal and slice the apples. I also had pie dough in the freezer that he rolled out and lined the pie tin with. Other than that he did it himself. It's quite an accomplishment for someone who doesn't know how to cook. It turned out delicious and ready to share with Ron Miller, when he came to home teach later that day.

Sorry dad, but your french toast reputation still lives on. Good job on the pies though. I guess when you retire then you can start your own business of baking pies! :)
You may have made a pie with mom at your side... that doesn't mean you can make french toast when she's away.
