Day 6 & 7

We left North Conway, New Hampshire and traveled to Portland, Maine. When we first arrived there we took a ferry cruise around the city of Portland. There's a restaurant there that's called $3.00 Deweys. The building has been there since the early days but was not always a restaurant. It was a bar and the saying was $1.00 lookey, $2.00 touchy, and $3.00 Dewey. They kept the name when it was changed to a restaurant. We all got a laugh out of it.

As we left Portland we drove past George W. Bush Sr. compound.
From George W Bush compound
We could only get a picture from the bus, for security the bus can't stop there.
We then drove to Kennebunkport for out last night. We had a beautiful motel and a great lobster dinner.

It is beautiful there. I love that you took a picture of Spring Street for Spring! You did have a great view from the hotel room.
