On Friday we went to the Moore Theatre in Seattle to see The Kingston Trio. We found a parking garage across the street from the theatre and walked to find a place to eat. After walking several blocks we finally found a small resturant. It ended up being pretty expensive but was really good. Dad ordered chicken and I ordered onion and cheese raviolos. When they came Dad had a half of a chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots, mine had 2 raviolos that were each about 4 inches sq. That's it! But after having tasted both mine was lots better and ended up being really filling.
We then walked back to the theatre and waited for the concert to begin. It was really good and fun to listen to. They are known for the folk songs they sing. Not only was the music fun to listen to and good but they were good entertainers as well.
On our way home we stopped at Shari's in Port Orchard for dessert. We ended up buying a whole pie, ate a slice there and brought the rest home. It's much cheaper that way. It was an enjoyable night and we enjoyed the time together.
Tuesday night we went to Bremerton high School to watch the BYU Folk Dancers. They performed dances that were custom from all around the world. Of course the dances were done very well and we enjoyed that as well. We also found out that the BYU Ballroom Dancers will be coming in Oct. We are looking forward to that since we both enjoy ballroom dancing the most.
Dad has also painted the kitchen. It looks really nice and has lightened it up a lot. I put up new curtains and will get pictures once it's all back together and put on the blog.

That was fun to hear about. Your dinner makes me think of that commercial (I think for capital one credit card) where a couple goes to a really fancy restaraunt only to get food that is TINY. They end up going afterwards to a gas station convenience center and loading up on junk food!

It makes me happy to think that you and dad have so many opportunities now to go to concerts, plays and all those fun things now that you are empty nesters (or close to, since Brandon and Heather are back home). Sounds like it was fun.
