New Porch
We have been wanting to put a new porch on for quite a while. We wanted to make it bigger so we can put chairs and a small table so we can enjy sitting outside on warm summer nights. Mike Webb came last week and did it. We had to remove the bushes because they helped with the rotting of the wood, since it never really dried out. I still have to plant some flowers and we need to stain the porch. We will do that later this summer when we are sure it is dried. .

I like it! It looks so different without the bushes there! I think I"ll miss the Rhodedendrons but I guess they aren't good if they aid in the rotting of the wood.
that is beautiful. You are right, it really does change the look of the house so much. I like the openness it gives to the front of the house and how clean it looks. I am so glad you were able to do this. I love it and I am sure you are going to really enjoy it during the warmer evenings.
